Pigment, oil, usually poppy seed oil, and other ingredients are incorporated at variable speed, adapted to each pigment, until a homogeneous paste is obtained. The paste is then ground at a slow speed so as not to heat the material and preserve the purity of the color. Numerous controls are then carried out and each worker is trained for that and possesses an irreproachable know-how and technicality.
Manufactured with the purest pigments
The colors of BLOCKX oils are smooth, bright and of high quality. The extra-fine oils are, for the most part, made from mono-pigments, without fillers and without additives for a product highly concentrated in color. The selected pigments are of high quality and very lightfast (score of 7/8 on the blue wool scale). The traditional production of grinding on a prophyry stone, similar to hand grinding, is very respectful of the color and allows to have an optimal fineness of the pigment.
